Overview
A modern e-commerce platform focused on a frictionless storefront, clear merchandising and operator-friendly tooling.
Problem
Most small commerce stacks force founders to choose between drag-and-drop limits and engineering complexity. Operators wanted something fast, clean, and theirs.
Idea
A storefront that respects the product. Minimal chrome, fast routes, fewer steps to checkout, and an admin built for daily operations rather than configuration.
Development process
- 01Mapped end-to-end shopper and operator journeys before writing UI code.
- 02Prototyped the catalog and checkout in isolation to lock in latency budgets.
- 03Designed the admin around the daily routine, not the data model.
Technical decisions
- 01Server-rendered storefront with edge caching for catalog pages.
- 02Idempotent order pipeline backed by a state machine.
- 03Strict separation between read models (storefront) and write models (admin).
Challenges
- 01Keeping page weight low while still showing rich product media.
- 02Designing an inventory model that is correct under concurrent purchases.
Learnings
- 01Operator UX is the actual product.
- 02Strong defaults beat configuration screens every time.
Future roadmap
- 01Multi-storefront support
- 02Programmatic merchandising via rules
- 03Embedded analytics for operators
